Health Guarantee and Sales Agreement
We warrant the health of this puppy for a period of five (5) days after receipt of puppy. Within these five (5) days you must have the puppy seen by a licensed veterinarian for a wellness check. This shall be the responsibility and expense of the buyer or all guarantees are null and void. This puppy is up-to-date on dewormings and vaccines and has been vet checked before leaving Miracle Homestead Labradors. A record of vaccinations and dewormings has been provided for you when you picked up your puppy. Due to the fact that puppies naturally get worms very easily since they chew on anything they can get their mouths on we do not guarantee the puppy for worms or parasites that are common in puppies and are typically easily treated. You, the new owner, must have all dewormings and vaccinations kept current as recommended by a licensed veterinarian. Failure to have documents proving you have done so will void all guarantees within this contract.
If there is an issue when your vet makes their initial examination you must notify us the same day of the exam. If it is determined at this time that the puppy will be returned to us, you must return her/him within forty-eight (48) hours along with a written report by the vet. For a full refund you must fill out all necessary forms to return ownership of the puppy back to Miracle Homestead Labradors. We are not responsible for vet bills, shipping or traveling fees.
In the initial examination if the vet finds the puppy to be at serious health risk resulting in euthanasia or death you must notify us that same day and provide us with a written statement from the vet with details of the puppy’s condition. If you choose euthanasia without our prior written consent you will forfeit all guarantees within this contract. We do not assume liability for any injuries or accidents to the puppy after she/he leaves our possession.
We warrant against life threatening congenital defects until the puppy is twelve (12) months of age. To validate this guarantee you must provide us with a written statement from the vet with their signature stating the health problem(s) including the symptoms supporting their diagnosis along with copies of any x-rays and/or tests that were done. In the event of a genetic defect we will assist with vet bills that relate to this condition; however, our liability shall not exceed 50% of the purchase price of the puppy. If you choose to return the puppy Miracle Homestead Labradors shall replace her/him within one (1) year of the puppy’s return. If we are unable to replace the puppy within this year we will give a full refund of the purchase price. We are not responsible for any other vet bills, shipping or traveling fees.
The puppy comes with AKC registration papers so you can register her/him with AKC if you choose to do so; however, we do not guarantee what the puppy’s mature weight, size or coloring will be or if the puppy will be of show or breeding quality.
If you find you are unable to care for your puppy/dog that you purchased from Miracle Homestead Labradors and cannot find a good home for her/him we ask that you do not take them to an animal shelter or rescue facility. We will take the puppy/dog back and seek to rehome them; however, we do not issue a refund or replace the puppy/dog in these circumstances.
All sales are final except for those guarantees written herein. This contract is only valid for the buyer who has signed this contract. If said buyer is no longer the owner of the puppy/dog this contact and its guarantees are voided and no longer valid.
The above is the contract we have and you will have a signed copy to take with you when the purchase is finalized.
INFORMATION ON DEPOSITS AND THE SELECTION PROCESS
Please see our "Available Puppies" page for information on how to be placed on a list to be notified of upcoming litters.
We strive to be fair to buyers by accepting deposits after the puppies are born to secure the buyer's choice of sex. We ask for a non-refundable $250.00 deposit to secure your puppy until time for pick-up. This deposit in non-refundable; however, it is applied towards the purchase price of the puppy. The only exception is if the puppy you have selected dies, becomes incurably ill or in any way becomes unsuitable for us to sell then we will refund the deposit.
Buyers will choose their puppy according to the order in which the deposits were received. Buyer may choose their puppy when the puppies are six (6) to eight (8) weeks of age. You may visit our home and make your selection in person if you are able to do so. We will be posting photos and information on the puppies so you will also be able to make your selection without making a trip to our home if you'd like. We also send additional information on specific puppies to you by email if you request it. When you are notified that you are the next buyer to choose your puppy please do so within a reasonable amount of time. If the puppies have reached eight (8) weeks of age and you have not made your selection you may forfeit your position in the selection process.
We expect the buyer to come in person or send a family member or friend to pick up your selected puppy when the puppy has reached eight (8) weeks of age. Full payment must be made on or before pick-up. We will accept checks up to 10 days before pick-up. We require cash if payment will be made at the time of pick-up. Paypal is also an acceptable method of payment. The payment should be processed before pick up if you use paypal. We do not ship our puppies; however, we would consider meeting at a distance for a fee. We are willing to work with our clients in keeping the puppy longer than 8 weeks if it's helpful and more convenient for their schedule.
